Season After Fire 2026
The Season After Fire exhibition by Roisin Clark opened on a stormy Galley evening on 24 April 2026.
Created six years after my spinal cord injury, The Season After Fire reflects on
what comes after rupture, the season of regrowth, adaptation and learning to live within a changed body and landscape. The works explore how pain and beauty can co-exist, drawing inspiration from
my personal experience and the cycles of renewal that shape the Sunshine Coast environment.
Artist talk - May 2026
Ro Clark presented an artist talk for her solo exhibition
The Season After Fire at Galley Lane, Coolum. Speaking about the inspiration and process behind the work, Roisin reflected on her personal rebuilding following spinal cord injury, drawing parallels with the restorative cycles of the Sunshine Coast environment. The artist talk created an opportunity for the community to connect more deeply with the accessible public art on display.
